The FlightQuest Roadmap

Who FlightQuest Is For:

  • Flight Explorers – If you've always thought about becoming a pilot, now is the time to get all of your questions answered by people actually working in the industry. You Tube has its entertainment value, but this is a community of professionals not internet influencers.

  • Cadets – Once you've made a decision to pursue a piloting career you need to have a strategy. Being part of a community of people who are on the same journey or have completed the journey is extremely valuable.

  • Aviator– Even after you earn your private pilot certificate you have a lot more work to complete. It's great having the friends you've made to cheer you on when motivation wanes.

  • Instructor Pilots – Step by step as you work your way to becoming a professional pilot that gets paid to fly we'll be there with training, coaching, support and mentoring by people who have lived every step of the journey.

  • Piloting is not just a career. Its a lifestyle. – It will affect every aspect of your life. Stay active in the community and you won't get blindsided.

  • Airline Transport Pilot – Its truly the longest part of the journey getting that first 1500 hours but once you have the ATP you will be finally at the cusp of finding your real first piloting job with a part 91, 91k, 135 or part 121 operator.

  • Career Changers – Up to this point we have been talking about young people fresh out of school who are building their career but there are growing number of people who are already established in their career but no longer find it fulfilling and so they gravitate to flying.

  • Military transitioning to civilian - With the demand and opportunities being so strong at the airlines many are leaving their military careers behind to join an airline. You're in luck. The airlines love military pilots and all that you bring to the table.

  • Airline retiring and returning to corporate/charter - Age 65 took you out of the 121 world but some of you aren't willing to hang it up quite yet. There still a place for to stay in the game if you know where and how to look.

The Opportunity Exchange

A structured system connecting members to:

Training, tools, collaboration and support

We don't give you flight instruction...

There are hundreds of schools who provide that.

We'll teach you the things no one else does.

  • We will show you that the term "flying career" doesn't just mean airlines.

  • Our courses will open your eyes to opportunities you never even knew existed.

  • We'll help you find the money to complete your training and show you how to maximize it along the way.

  • We have courses to show you how to build a resume that gets your phone ringing and how to interview to get the offer.

  • You'll learn where and how to look for employers that offer the lifestyle you're looking for.

  • You'll find networking opportunities that open doors you never would have found.

The community is there to offer support. Most jobs in this industry are word of mouth and a recommendation from someone you meet here can open doors to an amazing job.

Flight Quest Community

The professional guild for career-minded aviators.

What Is a Guild?

Historically, a guild was an organization of professionals who shared a common trade. Examples included: Blacksmiths,

Shipbuilders, Carpenters, Masons, and Merchants.

Guilds existed to: Protect the Profession. They established standards for quality and professionalism. Train New Members -

Young apprentices learned from experienced masters. Create Career Pathways. The traditional progression was:

Apprentice → Journeyman → Master

Share Opportunities. Members helped one another find work and advance. Build Trust. Belonging to the guild signaled competence and professionalism.

How does that apply to our community?

When you think about it, professional aviation has always functioned like a guild. A student pilot learns from an instructor.

A flight instructor mentors a commercial pilot. A captain mentors a first officer. A chief pilot develops future leaders. Experienced aviators pass down knowledge, wisdom, standards, and opportunities. The aviation profession has always depended on:

Mentorship. Reputation. Relationships. Professional standards.

Shared knowledge

Careers are rarely built alone.

Most are built through connections.

Flight Quest is designed to bring those connections together under one roof.

A place where aspiring pilots can learn from those who have already traveled the path. A place where experienced aviators can continue growing, sharing, and giving back. A place where opportunities are visible rather than hidden.

Let the community know so we can celebrate your victory! Once you have your Private Pilot Certificate you are able to fly when and where you want in VFR weather. It's a license to learn.

  • Pro Aviator: This level begins when you reach the next certification, the Commercial Pilot Certificate. When you reach the Pro Aviator level it means you have crossed the threshold to professional. You still have some distance to go but it is a major acheivement!

  • The Instructor Pilot: You reach the Instructor Pilot level when you acheive attaining the CFI certificate. Ther are actually four Levels at this stage. Basic Instructor, Instrument Instructor, Multi-engine instructor and Chief Flight Instructor. The CIP is also the first management pilot level.

You will never forget the first time that you shoot an ILS to minimums. It is such an accomplishment and you'll be beaming with pride.

  • The Multi-engine Rating: Learning to fly airplanes with two or more engines is challenging and it's another of those accomplishments that will give you a high degree of satisfaction.

  • First Turbine, Crew Experience and First Jet: Now you are finally getting into the realm of a true professional. If you are planning to go to the airlines this stage is critical in your professional growth.

  • Command Level: This is where you step up to the organization level. yesterday you were a line pilot in charge of your flight. Today you are Chief Pilot or Director and you are responsible for an employee group or even the entire fleet. It's a big job with big rewards.

You deserve to see the quality of our guidance, the depth of our experience, and the real‑world effectiveness of the principles we teach.

That’s why we operate with complete transparency. We verify our instructors, document our experience, and provide clear, verifiable proof of the work we’ve done in aviation. You’ll see exactly who we are, what we’ve accomplished, and why our approach helps pilots make better decisions at every stage of their journey.

The bottom line is simple: We earn your trust by giving you valuable, actionable insight you won’t find anywhere else — the kind of clarity pilots wish they had earlier in their careers.
